PsP Upgrade
Partner Specialist Cards (PsP) can be levelled up through Upgrade — you fuse another Specialist Card into the one you want to raise. Every fusion feeds it experience; as the experience bar fills, the card gains levels (from +0 up to +100) and permanent stat points.
PsP upgrades are done at the Malcom Mix NPC, which opens the SP Partner Fusion window shown below.
An upgraded card shows its Upgrade Level and the stats it has gained:
See the cards themselves on the NosMate page.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”At the Malcom Mix NPC, open the SP Partner Fusion window, then place:
- the card to upgrade in the target slot;
- another Partner Specialist Card as fusion material.
A preview shows the resulting level, the gold cost and the materials needed before you confirm. Each fusion consumes:
- the material card (it is destroyed);
- gold;
- a number of Stone PsP Partner Upgrade.
The material consumed on every fusion, on top of the gold and the sacrificed card.
Experience
Section titled “Experience”The material card fills the upgrade’s experience bar — every 100% of the bar is one level. How much a fusion grants depends on the card’s current tier (higher tiers give less base experience), plus two bonuses:
- Same partner — if the material is the same partner type as the card you are upgrading, the base experience is doubled.
- Upgraded material — if the material card is itself above +1, it adds extra experience equal to its level × 30.
Tiers, costs and stat points
Section titled “Tiers, costs and stat points”The card’s level is split into five tiers. Staying inside a tier is a normal upgrade; crossing into the next tier is a major upgrade, which costs more material but awards bonus stat points.
| Tier | Card level | Base XP / fusion | Stat points / level | Normal upgrade | Major upgrade (tier-up) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | +0 – +19 | 208 | 1 | 100,000 gold + 10 stones | 1,000,000 gold + 10 stones |
| 2 | +20 – +39 | 104 | 2 | 300,000 gold + 7 stones | 2,000,000 gold + 10 stones |
| 3 | +40 – +59 | 52 | 3 | 500,000 gold + 10 stones | 3,000,000 gold + 10 stones |
| 4 | +60 – +79 | 26 | 5 | 750,000 gold + 10 stones | 4,000,000 gold + 10 stones |
| 5 | +80 – +99 | 13 | 7 | 1,000,000 gold + 10 stones | 5,000,000 gold + 30 stones |
A major upgrade also grants a one-off block of bonus stat points when the card breaks into the next tier: +3, +6, +9, +12, +18 points respectively.
The stats
Section titled “The stats”Each level’s stat points are spread randomly across the card’s eight stats, each with its own cap:
- Attack, Defense, Element, HP / MP — cap 100
- Fire, Water, Light, Dark resistances — cap 35
Once a stat hits its cap it is skipped and the remaining points land on the others.
At level +100 the card is fully maxed and cannot be upgraded further.
